The Ceremony is Only The Beginning

Explore the mystery,

stay rooted in yourself

Ceremonial guidance, psychedelic integration, and intentional plant practices for navigating plant wisdom and expanded states of consciousness.

The plants have long been our teachers. If we listen, they will tell us what we need to know.

--Robin Wall Kimmerer, Braiding Sweetgrass

You might be here because...

Something shifted,

and you’re still figuring out what.

The medicine resonated. The container didn't.

Maybe you valued the experience but felt uncomfortable with the facilitator, community, belief system, or dynamics surrounding it.

You experienced something you can't easily explain.

Visions, synchronicities, encounters, sensations, or insights felt deeply significant, and you want somewhere grounded to explore them without being told what they “mean.”

Your old life doesn't quite fit the same way.

A relationship, career, belief, identity, or way of living suddenly looks different—and you're not sure what comes next.

You came home with more questions than answers.

Something felt profoundly clear during the experience, but now you're not sure what it meant—or what to do with it.

The glow faded, but something in you still feels different.

You don't want to lose what you touched simply because everyday life returned.

You're caught between “I understood everything” and “I know absolutely nothing.”

The experience expanded your perspective—and somehow made the mystery even bigger.

You simply want to tend what opened.

Nothing is necessarily wrong. You want practices, reflection, and support that help what you experienced become part of the way you actually live.

Working with altered states

Meet the medicine with reverence,

meet the

experience with decernment

Psychedelic and heart-opening medicines can radically expand the ways we understand ourselves—our relationships, purpose, ancestry, spirituality, and the stories through which we make sense of being alive. In that expansion, we may encounter more than we're able to understand or hold all at once.

I think of integration as learning to grow into the expanded vessel. When we return to our everyday routines, there can be a pull to contract back into what is familiar—or an invitation to begin filling that newly expanded space with support, knowledge, love, practice, and relationship.

The goal isn't to stay in an altered state. It's to honor our expansion and cultivate a relationship with what has been revealed—whether we're integrating a past experience, preparing for a guided journey, or exploring an intentional microdosing practice.

There are many ways to meet the medicine.

Integration Support

Real transformation doesn't happen in a single night

It unfolds through our relationships

with ourselves, with others, and the living world.

My approach to Integration

Five movements for tending to

what opened.

Integration is the practice of staying curious about what happened—and discovering what, if anything, it asks of the life you're living now.

There is no expiration date on integration. You might reach for support days after an experience, months later, or when something you thought you'd understood begins asking for your attention again.

I approach integration as an ongoing process of noticing what has shifted, discerning what deserves our attention, and tending the conditions that shape our everyday lives.

Because transformation isn't sustained by insight alone. It grows through what we choose to care for repeatedly—our relationships, environments, practices, bodies, creativity, and communities.

My role is to help you stay in relationship with the work—to notice what might otherwise fall through the cracks, offer another perspective when you're circling something alone, and help you build a network of practices and support that can continue beyond our time together.

Everyone moves differently, but my work tends to return to five movements:

  • 01
  • 02
  • 03
  • 04
  • 05

This isn't a rigid five-step program

We may move forward, circle back, linger somewhere longer, or discover that one area needs much more attention than another.

Our sessions are shaped around you, with guided reflection, questions, practices, resources, and ongoing threads to explore between meetings.

Ready to cultivate lasting change?

Let's start the conversation on how to make this happen.

“Simone's presence combines a breadth of knowledge, experience, and practice with intuition, attunement, and connection to the person she's working with. I wholeheartedly recommend her for anyone considering this type of work.”

Plant Medicine Guidance

A ceremony is only as trustworthy as the people holding it

True leadership requires preparation, discernment, and the humility to know one's limits.

San-Pedro-Ceremony.jpeg
Guided sacred plant medicine experiences

Ceremony shaped around the

person receiving it

No two people arrive at medicine with the same history, questions, needs, or intentions. I offer one-on-one and small-group ceremonial support designed around the person or people receiving it, weaving together harm-reduction practices, shamanic wisdom, guided prayer, music, nourishment, and philosophies of consciousness and spirituality.

My own guided work centers primarily around mushrooms, rapé, and cacao. If another medicine is calling you, I may instead help connect you with a trusted facilitator, clinician, tradition, or community better suited to hold that experience. Part of responsible guidance is knowing when someone else is the better guide.

The medicine container may include:

Preparation

A conversation before we meet to explore your intentions, questions, concerns, and practical considerations, including medications and safety. Together, we'll discuss what helps you feel safe, comfortable, and confident, so you can enter the ceremony feeling prepared, supported, and open to what unfolds.

Ceremony

A sacred space held with prayer, song, reverence, silence, and respect for the medicine. Rooted in intention, ancestral traditions, and relationship with the elements, the directions, and the unseen, each ceremony invites you to arrive as you are. Bring your prayers, your favorite songs, and your whole self into the primordial soup of possibility.

Nourishment
Food is part of how I care for people. When appropriate, ceremony closes with a thoughtfully prepared meal and space to gently return, eat, talk, laugh, or simply be.

Integration
We meet again afterward to reflect on what happened, what continues to surface, and what may need tending. If the experience opens a longer chapter, you can continue into a 5- or 10-session integration container.

Opening a portal is one thing. Knowing how to hold what comes through is another.

Altered states can bring beauty, insight, confusion, and vulnerability. The responsibility of a guide isn't to promise transformation, but to create a thoughtful, grounded container for whatever arises.

Not every ceremonial space is held with the same level of care. Unclear boundaries, unprepared facilitators, and inadequate support can leave participants vulnerable when they most need steadiness. I believe responsible guidance means knowing your limits, respecting each person's autonomy, and taking the preparation and integration as seriously as the ceremony itself.

Curious about what your ceremony could look like?

Let's talk about what you're seeking and discover whether working together feels like the right fit.

"Simone created an environment where we felt nurtured, seen,
understood and accepted. At the wise old age of 57 I can say she is truly wise beyond her years. There was clear intention behind every choice she made, and she anticipated not only what was needed in the moment but what we would need next."

Microdosing

There is no universal microdosing protocol

My work is about developing an informed and intentional relationship with both the medicine and the practice.

microdosing2.jpeg
Personalized guidance or a self-pace companion

Everyday allies, kept sacred

in right relationship

Microdosing can easily become another item on the morning checklist. My approach is different. I believe that working regularly with a psychedelic substance makes relationship, intention, and discernment more important—not less.

Whether we work together one-on-one or you explore at your own pace through my self-guided ritual kit, the invitation is the same: to approach microdosing with curiosity, reverence, and informed awareness.

Rather than treating the medicine like a pill expected to “fix” something, I invite you to ask: What are you seeking from this relationship? What are you noticing? And how are you bringing those insights into your everyday life?

Why this work matters to me

I know what it feels like to come home

enough support

without

My first experiences with plant medicine gave me profound insights—and left me without a container strong enough to hold what came afterward.

I remember waking in the night confused by what was happening in my body, sitting in the shower trying to ground myself, and reaching out to the person who had facilitated my ceremony because I didn't know where else to turn. The support I needed wasn't there.

I thought another ceremony might give me closure. Instead, I came home even more disoriented. I had opened something enormous and didn't yet have the relationships, practices, language, or support to understand how to live with it.

What helped me find my way wasn't another breakthrough. It was relationship. Other participants who stayed connected. A friend who kept checking in. Teachers who took integration seriously. And eventually, ceremonial traditions that taught me a very different understanding of preparation, responsibility, reciprocity, and relationship with medicine.

PXL_20240415_233122579.jpg

That experience is part of why I do this work today.

No one should be made to feel weak or foolish because they're struggling to understand what an altered state has opened. Sometimes what we need isn't another answer. We need someone willing to stay curious with us while we find our footing again.

Core reasons why plant medicine support

is essential

If you feel called to make a meaningful change in your life, but don’t know where to begin, you are not alone.

Science, ceremony, and intuition

Walking the

Medicine Path

Over the years, I have woven the threads of indigenous tradition, ritual practice, and clinical research into a living practice of ceremony and integration. I walk beside those called to this path, helping to ground their experiences, deepen their intuition, and honor the medicine they carry forward into life.

Lineage, Training, and Influences:

  • Study with Shipibo, Quetchuan, and Tz’utujil curanderos, ceremonialists and herbalists (Plant Medicine School, Gaia School of Healing, Huachumera apprenticeship, Cacao Apprenticeship, Association for Peace Jun Imox)

  • Coursework in psychedelic facilitation, integration and ethics (MAPS, Johns Hopkins)

  • Certification in somatic healing and trauma-informed practice

  • Ritual, nutritional, and pharmacokinetic study with master plants (non-psychedelic and psychedelic)
